Open agentic development environment born from the terminal.
Warp is an open-source agentic development environment that combines a modern terminal with AI coding agents and cloud orchestration.

Warp is an open-source agentic development environment that pairs a modern terminal with AI coding agents and a cloud orchestration platform for managing them.
Download Warp for macOS, Linux, or Windows, then use the terminal to launch and orchestrate AI coding agents. Connect cloud agents through Oz, delegate coding tasks like code review, refactors, and bug investigation, and join agent sessions with one click to maintain oversight.
Warp is an agentic development environment built around a modern terminal, designed to help developers ship software faster with AI-powered coding agents. The platform combines three products: Warp Terminal, an open-source terminal interface optimized for working with coding agents; Warp Agent, an orchestration-native coding agent harness with multi-agent support, codebase indexing, and granular permission controls; and Oz, the cloud agent orchestration platform for managing fleets of agents with shared context, observability, and administration.
Developers can run coding agents locally or in the cloud across any model and harness, including Claude Code, Codex, and Warp Agent. The terminal works across macOS, Linux, and Windows, and supports command sharing, modern input editing, and agent-driven workflows for tasks like code review, bug investigation, refactors, and incident response. Teams get centralized governance, usage visibility, and credit caps, while enterprises in financial services, insurance, and telecommunications use Warp for secure, compliant AI-assisted development. Warp is trusted by over 800,000 developers and thousands of engineering teams, and the terminal is open source on GitHub.
No, Warp does not allow OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other model providers to train their models on your data. Regardless of which Warp plan you are on, your data is never used for training, even on the Free plan. To help improve Warp’s performance and capabilities, users can optionally share limited interaction data under strict safeguards. This data is anonymous, filtered to remove sensitive information, and never used for third-party model training. How do you compare against other coding tools? How much does Warp cost? When you’re offline, Warp Drive will continue to work in read only mode. You must have a connection to the internet to create new workflows, update existing workflows, or sync updated workflows from a shared team drive. Can I import or export objects from Warp Drive? t is a Rust-based framework designed to be cross-platform. The framework has two components: it is a layout engine and it handles input from the OS. There are entry points to plug in different types of graphics shaders. The layout engine creates a scene of rectangles, glyphs and images; we pass these to our graphics renderer, which creates a rendering pipeline for each primitive.
