Design vocabulary and anti-patterns for AI coding harnesses
AI skill with 23 commands and anti-pattern detection that teaches coding agents hierarchy, contrast, and restraint for production frontend design.

Impeccable is a free, open-source design skill and slash-command pack for AI coding agents that replaces generic AI frontend output with hierarchy, contrast, restraint, and accessibility built in.
Install via `npx impeccable skills install` for your harness (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, etc.), then invoke commands like `/impeccable craft`, `/typeset`, `/colorize`, or `/audit` directly in the chat. Run `npx impeccable detect src/` in CI to block slop in pull requests.
Impeccable is a free, open-source design skill and plugin for AI coding harnesses such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, and Codex CLI. It gives the agent a designer's vocabulary and ships 23 slash commands covering the full design process: craft, shape, critique, audit, typeset, layout, colorize, animate, delight, bolder, quieter, overdrive, distill, clarify, adapt, polish, optimize, harden, onboard, init, document, extract, and live.
Beyond commands, Impeccable targets the 'AI slop' tells in generated UI. It enforces typography contrast, accessible color palettes, responsive structure, honest interaction states, purposeful motion, and specific UX writing. A deterministic detector with 41 rules can be run via CLI in pull requests, and a Chrome extension surfaces the same checks on any live page.
The skill reads a project's PRODUCT.md and DESIGN.md files, inherits existing design tokens and components, and writes variants back to source as ordinary edits. A Live Mode (beta) lets you pick an element in a running dev server, leave a comment or sketch, and swap in three production-quality variants via HMR.
Install with npx impeccable skills install (or add the Claude Code plugin from the marketplace). Built by Paul Bakaus.
Yes. The skill, commands, detector, and Chrome extension are all free to use.
Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, Antigravity, OpenCode, Pi, and other major AI coding harnesses.
Run `npx impeccable skills install` in your project, or add the Claude Code plugin from the marketplace via `/plugin marketplace add pbakaus/impeccable`.
Yes. Run `npx impeccable detect src/` in a pull request check; it emits JSON output and exit codes the build can read.
No. It reads your tokens, components, and conventions from the codebase and matches them instead of inventing its own.
