AnythingLLM is an all-in-one AI desktop application that lets you chat with documents, deploy AI agents, and run any large language model locally with no technical setup. Built by Mintplex Labs and released under the MIT license, it supports custom local models as well as providers like OpenAI, Azure, and AWS, and ingests PDFs, Word documents, CSVs, and codebases out of the box. The desktop app runs fully offline on macOS, Windows, and Linux with no account required, keeping models, chats, and storage on the user's machine by default. Hosted and self-hosted deployments add multi-user access, admin controls, and whitelabeling for teams. A Community Hub offers agent skills, system prompts, and slash commands to extend the platform, while a built-in developer API enables custom integrations.
