An open-source agent that grows with you
An open-source agent that grows with you — learns your projects, builds its own skills, and reaches you wherever you are. By Nous Research.

Hermes Agent is an open‑source personal AI agent that you install on your own machine and connect to your messaging accounts to create a persistent, learning assistant.
To get started, run the install script `curl -fsSL https://hermes-agent.nousresearch.com/install.sh | bash`, then execute `hermes setup` to configure your preferred platforms, after which the agent runs autonomously and improves over time.
Hermes Agent is a self‑hosted, open‑source AI agent that runs on your own server and integrates with popular messaging platforms such as Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, Email and CLI. It persists memory across sessions, automatically generates skills from your interactions, and can execute scheduled automations using natural‑language cron syntax. The agent can spawn isolated subagents for parallel tasks, run code in secured sandboxes (Docker, SSH, Singularity, Modal, etc.), and control web browsers for search, automation, vision and image generation. All code is released under the MIT license, making it free to use, modify and deploy.
Run the install script: curl -fsSL https://hermes-agent.nousresearch.com/install.sh | bash
Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, Email, and CLI, with additional platforms being added regularly.
